The situation with COVID-19 is evolving rapidly and our top priority is the health and safety of our Members, guests and Staff. We continue to monitor government recommendations to help contain the spread of COVID-19, and our decisions are guided by the following principles of (1) Employee & Member health & safety (2) government regulatory compliance and (3) our role as being part of the community solution not the problem.

In accordance with Provincial guidelines, we are now able to facilitate limited access to the Island for RLWYC Members for tennis only. The tennis courts will open on the 20th of June. Click here for the return to play protocols.

COVID 19 Acknowledgement of Risk

As a result of the COVID pandemic, the Club is taking precautions to ensure the safety of its members and to protect the Club. Everyone has a role to play to keep themselves and their fellow members safe. We are requiring that every member to take steps to self assess and to stay away from the Club if they are experiencing symptoms, have come into contact with anyone experiencing symptoms, or are required to self-isolate due to government regulation. Once at the Club, we are requiring all members take precautions, including social distancing and sanitizing. Masks are recommended.

Every member attends the Club at their own risk and every member can play an active role in mitigating that risk. If you have an increased risk, due to age and/or an underlying health condition, we recommend that you consider not attending the Club.
