RLWYC is a special gathering place that has bonded families and friends together for generations.  The season typically begins in late June with an Ice Breaker Royal Hour – a casual gathering for cocktails followed by a BBQ on the back deck.  Royal Hour continues every Friday until the end of the season.  Wednesday night is for families where kids have a buffet dinner followed by popcorn & a movie or ball hockey on the tennis courts.  While the kids are occupied, parents are served a casual meal, and enjoy some adult time together.   Select Thursdays are for Club dinners: a delicious meal with friends and family in a beautiful setting.

Members can relax in the gracious lounge or on the deck with its splendid view of the lake.  They can sail one of the Club’s fleet of sailboats or enjoy one of the four tennis courts.  Daily yoga classes and coaching in sailing, tennis or swimming are also available.  Weekday programming for kids includes Sailing, Tennis & Swimming lessons.  In addition, we have a program called Stay N Play for little ones and the licensed canteen is open for lunch daily.

Weekends are busy with sailing regattas, tennis tournaments and special events including the annual Fish Fry and the legendary Yacht Club Dance.

Please contact Christine Morris at executivedirector@rlwyc.ca for Membership inquiries, application or to arrange a tour of the Royal Lake of the Woods Yacht Club. Clubhouse tours are only available once the club is open.

The joining fee and the schedule of membership dues and categories for 2021 is available through the Executive Director. Activities and programs are somewhat altered in 2021 to adhere to Covid guidelines.

We sincerely hope that you consider joining us as a member of RLWYC.
